Signing in with Discord

Ignotos has no separate account system - signing in uses Discord OAuth, and only members of the Ignotos Discord server can sign in at all. We keep your Discord ID (the stable identifier - never your username, since those can change), display name, avatar, and whether you're currently a member of the server. The Discord access token used to sign you in is discarded immediately after use and is never stored.

Placing an order

Checking out at Ignotos Shop stores your name, email address, and shipping address against your order, so it can be fulfilled and so you can look it up later. This is shared with our print-on-demand fulfilment partner only to the extent needed to print and ship your order - never sold or used for anything else.

We never see or store your card details. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe on their own secure checkout page.

Activity, badges & the scrapbook

If you're signed in and a member of the Discord, some activity (voice sessions, games played, event interest, scrapbook contributions) is logged against your Discord ID to power badges and the activity feed - never anything read from your private messages. Anything you submit to the scrapbook (photos, memories) is public to other members by design.

Your basket

If you're not signed in, your shopping basket lives only in your own browser's local storage - it's never sent to our servers until you actually start checkout. If you're signed in with Discord, your basket (just the items, sizes and quantities you've added) is also saved against your Discord ID so it's the same on every device you use. It's used for nothing else, and it's emptied when you clear it or complete an order.

Emails & cookies

Stripe sends you a payment receipt by email using the address you enter at checkout - that email comes directly from Stripe, not from Ignotos, and we don't control its content. We don't currently send our own order or shipping emails.

This site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookie it sets by default is the signed session cookie created when you sign in with Discord, needed to keep you logged in - it's not used to track you anywhere else.

If you choose "Accept" on the cookie banner, we also use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to count visits and show which pages are popular and what devices people use. It doesn't include your Discord details, and we don't use it for advertising. If you decline (or haven't chosen), Google Analytics sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device, though it may still receive a basic anonymous signal that a page was visited (such as the page, device type and approximate location). You can change your mind any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer.

Your choices

You can disconnect Discord at any time from your profile, and turn on privacy mode there to hide your display name from public pages (your avatar stays visible so people can still recognise you in context). If you want your data removed entirely, or have any question about what we hold, ask in Discord and an officer will sort it out.
